Outline
The designer's home and office is located on a corner lot at a three-way intersection in a residential area. The polygonal site is divided into two parts, with the residence on the northeast side and the garden on the southwest side. The garden is constructed with thin steel pipes (φ=48-60mm) in balance with the trees, and is connected with H-steel terraces of as small a cross section as possible by external stairs to create a three-dimensional structure. The terraces, stairs, supporting steel members, trees, and bicycles increase the density of the garden and create a buffer between the residence and the city.
