Outline
This project is to renovate a townhouse which used to be a gum factory and a residence into a second house. Based on the fact that the existing plan consisted of three layers from the south: the factory, the earthen floor, and the continuation room, the renovated plan consists of the gallery, the flow space, and the board room from the south. The earthen floor of the former gum factory was excavated to the depth of the existing air-raid shelter by about 2m, and the floor and ceiling of the second floor were removed to create a 6,000-10,700mm high atrium.
