RYOKO IWASE
Outline
This is a promenade and plaza planned along the left bank of the Kizu River, which flows through Osaka City, for 240 meters. It was originally a lumber beach used as a distribution center for lumber at the time of the construction of Osaka Castle, but the seawall was built several times after 1955, and the waterfront was far away.
